Weddingcakes.sg is founded by our pastry specialist Mdm Norsini Talka and Mr Ardy Md. It is in the interest of all clients that the duo decided to bring to existence weddingcakes.sg. 

Chef Norsini

Chef Norsini began her foray in the pastry field in 1975. It is her deep interest and passion in cake making that propelled her to make weddingcakes.sg a reality. Chef Norsini continued her education in the cake making field till today. She began conducting pastry, cookie making and bakery classes in 1985 for close friends and relatives.

In 1993, she toiled for 6 months to receive a Diploma in Cake Decorating. She went on to take a course in fruits and vegetables carving in 2003 in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The breakthrough that provided the impetus to her success with chocolate fondant cakes came from a Chocolate Modelling Paste course which she attended in Melbourne, Australia, during the year, 2005.

Chef Norsini’s teaching experience is varied and extensive. She has taught at The Baker’s Shop, Changi Airport Recreation Club and is currently conducting classes at Al-Ansar Mosque, Bedok North.

She has also partnered with Ailin’s Bakery Shop, Tanjong Katong Complex to publish a book titled, “Bake with Lin”. In that book, Mdm Norsini contributed 16 original cake and biscuit recipes.

Plus, in tandem with her partnership in community learning, The People's Association (PA) is pleased to register Chef Norsini as a PA trainer from 3 June 2008 to 30 June 2011 to conduct the following
courses at Community Centres/Clubs (CCs) and Residents' Committee (RC) Centres:

(a) Cakemaking (4 to 8 sessions) - Elementary
(b) Cake Icing & Designing
(c) Citarasa Kini - Baking for Your Family

Ardy Md

Ardy heads the marketing arm of weddingcakes.sg. He has extensive experience in business management, customer relations management, marketing, branding, advertising and web development. He graduated from National University of Singapore with a Second Class Honours Upper Division from the Faculty of Arts and Social Science.

Since then, he has been involved in several business startups which include a fashion and web development outfit, TitaniumEFX and co-founder of Asia’s Premiere Streetwear portal, SkinnyMunster and Singapore's very own Social Network site SgFrens.com.

Together with Mdm Norsini, Mr Ardy has brought weddingcakes.sg to where it is today. They intend to continue to strive for excellence and to provide customers with the best in terms of product quality, value and service.
